Reasons I am Not Losing Weight


Thirteen Things about Jersey Girl


1. M&M’s have more calories than air.
2. I can’t eat “just one” bag.
3. Rocking on my chair is not considered exercise.
4. Chocolate Milkshakes are not considered meal replacements.
5. You have to walk on the treadmill for more than three minutes.
6. Potatoes exist.
7. Movies insist on force-feeding me giant sized snacks.
8. Walking to the fridge to get another Diet Coke isn’t exercise.
9. I’m not trying.
10. I don’t want my scale to panic if I weight less.
11, 12, 13--the Lovely DK over at A Fly Over Blog pointed out I stopped at 10! I didn't even realize! I cracked up when I saw she was right! Thx DK, too funny...Cheers for catching it!

This is my first post to Thursday Thirteen. Hope it works out! Sadly in my 39years of counting, I seemed to have stopped at 10, and didn't quite make it to 13! Guess my brain was programmed for 10 this time! :)

Hi Jersey Girl! It's nice to meet another TT newbie. I face many of the same dilemmas! Only my biggest weakness is potato chips. I wish they would stop making them because I don't have the discipline to stop buying them! Great list! Thanks for visiting. See you next week...

Yep those dang m-m's get me every time! I used to think if I walked really fast to get my next diet coke it'd count for something!

We'll have to come up with some good "chair workouts". People use to ride excercise bikes while they watched TV...there's gotta be something we can do while blogging!!!

I took a class in chair exercise once--it really was a good routine. Also, potatoes don't have many calories and are very nutritious. It's the butter, gravy, sour cream, cheese, etc. that cause the problem. Don't blame the wonderful potato!

If the economy wasn't in such bad shape I'd lose weight. I might need this weight to survive if we have to cut down on eating or something. I think of it kinda like storing extra gas for the car.
