Son's Cave
I've been working on cleaning my son's room today. It's a mess! I decided I'd do a quick clean up, but it didn't end up staying that way. The more I started, the more I realized I had to pull the entire thing apart! It's amazing where a 12yo can end up tossing a pair of socks...
I've also decided to rearrange it and make it look fresh and have an entire new feel. Maybe it will inspire him to keep it cleaner...time will tell.
What I did think about doing is going out and getting him a desk for his room. He does most of his homework at his father's house, but I thought it would be great for him to finally have one in there. I'll let you know how that turns out!
I loved having a desk in my room growing up. Having access to paper, pens and more got me writing an at early age. I'd close my door and write and draw til my heart's content. We have plenty of that stuff, but I think it's time for a desk in there!

I really want to hear the follow up on this! If this inspires him to keep it clean, I am going to try it in my sloppy son's room!

I doubt it will help, but if there's some inspiration from this, I'll shout it from rooftops to all the hopeful parents!
