Distraction Buries Me

Lately, focus has been an issue for me. I've got so many pieces of a puzzle that I'm juggling, that I focus on multiple things at once. Of course, that's natural for me. I've never been good at just sitting and doing "one" thing for a long time. Don't get me wrong - I can get a job done, but in the process of doing it - I may be doing 6 or 7 other things too.

Focus is something that's been missing. I understand a little more about myself the older I get and the more I learn my patterns. The things I love rise to the top of course, and I'm really good at pushing things under the carpet I don't want to deal with. Tackle the big projects first, they say...get it out of the way! I wish I had the drive in me to follow that path, but it just never happens even with the best of intentions.
